Vicente Luque will step in for Lyman Good and meet Belal Muhammad at UFC 205 on Nov. 12 (online betting).
Promotion officials confirmed the new welterweight pairing on Tuesday. Good was pulled from the card on Monday after being informed of a potential anti-doping violation.
UFC 205 takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City and his headlined by a 155-pound title tilt between Eddie Alvarez and Conor McGregor. The evening’s main card airs on pay-per-view. Luque vs. Muhammad will take place on the preliminary draw.
After to falling to Michael Graves in his promotional debut, Luque has won three straight bouts in the Octagon. Most recently, the 24-year-old Brazilian defeated Hector Urbina via first-round knockout at UFC Fight Night 95 on Sept. 24.
Muhammad earned his first promotional triumph on Sept. 17, when he stopped Augusto Montano via third-round technical knockout at UFC Fight Night “Poirier vs. Johnson.”
